FOOD PANTRY/PERSONAL CARE KITS
Visitors can access the pantry twice each month. Appointments are required. Personal care kits include: Shampoo, body wash, toothbrush and toothpaste, deodorant, shaving items, feminine hygiene products.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation to medical appointments for Ankeny residents. Volunteer based program with drivers using their own vehicles.
COMMUNITY GARDEN
A community garden located in Uptown Ankeny. Produce is donated to area food pantries.
HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Our holiday program provides gifts to area families, children, and seniors.
DURABLE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
Free rental of DME to those in need. We also accept equipment that is no longer in use, but still in good condition.
COMMUNITY RESOURCE CONNECTION
A mission focused, shared space facility operated by the Ankeny Service Center. Located at 641 S. Ankeny Blvd.
LAWN CARE/SNOW REMOVAL
Lawn care and snow removal for individuals of Ankeny who may be unable to perform the work themselves and who are not financially able to hire someone to perform the work.
MINOR HOME REPAIRS
Working with businesses and individuals in the community, we offer small minor home repairs to Ankeny community members who are financially or physically unable to perform the repairs.
